Grey Lines I_Questions

Grey lines

Where?

Where exactly should the line be drawn?

I’m beginning to think that grey areas are inevitable

Just like the sand

Allowing space between the water and the land

Transitional and fun.

Just enough of both when convenient.

And if the sand is the line,

Does this mean that the line is the grey area?

Defined by various degrees of thickness?

Or is it just vital that we just choose one:

The water, the sand or the land?

Genuinely pensive…

i don’t think we have to choose. the water, the sand, the lines….they are all fluid. just like in this life, all we know for sure is that change is inevitable. yet that does not have to leave us scared….we too can flow with the changing waters, the changing coastline, the withdrawing sand. all our lives are grey areas of joy and despair, pain and comfort, loneliness and connection. and that is what makes this existence true.
