Joy: Learning to Love Living

Happy Days

There had been a whole world waiting😊

New faces to see

New people to greet

Personalities to discover…

It’s amazing!

When it suddenly hits you,

That there is sooooo much more than that which had become normal.

Funny enough,

It has always been there

Laughter😂

Happiness😄

Genuine smiles

People who care

Big hearts❤

Those who love hard

Those who give their all

Real people

Great intentions

Warm hugs🐥.

It had always been so easy to see all the things that were wrong

And allow them to overwhelm the mind.

Yet now my laughter is pure

I laugh a lot more

And no longer just a mask for unhappy thoughts.

So much more appreciative of all the little things:

That first peek of light when your eyes open in the mornings🌄

Each star so perfectly poised 🌌

The sound of rain in all its splendor ☔

The aesthetics of nature🍃; each atom, molecule perfectly sculpted by God-Hands.

Each day acknowledging that I am indeed blessed and placed here for a purpose

So for all that and more….

I am thankful!

And perpetually grateful 😌😊.
